I'm Han Hoa Huynh, the person behind Phobo, and I live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Here you'll find an in-depth phở guide: history, spices, recipe, etiquette and the right gear.
I also run Asia-Zone, a platform for the Asian community in Germany with a directory of Asian restaurants. There I see every day what people look for around Vietnamese food. This guide grew out of that.
How the content is made
The texts are researched, checked against sources and edited under my responsibility. I use AI tools as help. The images are AI-generated and labelled as such on the page.
